Bootle Containers manufacture a range of containers for use in the offshore oil and gas industry, including accommodation modules, work cabins, workshops, rigging units, control cabins, machinery enclosures, mini-containers, baskets and skids which are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with DNV 2.7-1 certification notes and BS EN 12079.

In addition we produce steel shells for A60 applications for later out-fitting by others and A60 windows and doors can be supplied and fitted in-house. Coating systems are applied to NORSOK standards where necessary, and full application records are maintained, including surface blast profile, wet film thickness, dry film thickness, inter-coat adhesion tests and atmospheric conditions.

Proof load testing of units is carried out in-house, witnessed by Classification Society surveyors. Visual, MPI, dye penetrant, ultrasonic and X-ray inspection of welds is carried out depending on the specified requirement. All welding is conducted with the necessary procedures and qualifications, and full material traceability ensures final documentation dossiers are to the specified requirements.
